NZGBC Greenstar – Te Mirumiru – 6 Stars (Highest Possible)

Green Star, New Zealand's rating tool for sustainable buildings, awarded its 100th rating – a major milestone since launching in 2007.

Te Mirumiru, Kawakawa received 6 Green Star – a childcare centre integrated into the landscape with full green roof and earth banks. It was the first commercial construction of its type in New Zealand, and one of three buildings to share the 100th project honour.
