Last Friday night we were honoured to be awarded two merits at this year’s Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards. The merits were for Best Start Hobsonville Early Learning Centre in the education and heritage categories.
Congratulations to all involved including CPMC and Bindon Construction Ltd in this very special project that restored the original workers boarding house, built in 1880 by the Clark Family, as philanthropic housing for workers at their brickworks.
Its original design featured unique large-format hollow glazed bricks and an innovative underfloor hypocaust heating system, utilising surplus heat from the nearby kiln.
Thank you, Property Council New Zealand for this recognition and congratulation to all winners and participates at this year’s awards that attracted over 1,500 property professionals to the Spark Arena.
